Your balance is always there
When you tap on your checking, savings, or money market accounts you will get instant balance information. It is now easier to get the details you need. Your Posted Balance, Pending Transactions, and Available Balance are always displayed at the top of your account—along with their descriptions for a better understanding of your account status.

Answers to commonly asked questions about the new BBVA Mobile Banking app
Yes. No account information, settings, payees, or alerts will be lost. There should be no need to reestablish this account information after you update your app.
The "I Want To" menu has been replaced with a new navigation bar that opens your most commonly needed features with one tap. You now have faster access to Financial Tools, Add Products, Payments & Transfers (Move Money) and the Assistance Center.
Clicking Accounts in the navigation bar provides you fast access to your BBVA banking accounts. Along the bottom of each account details screen, you will now have a quick action bar, giving you access to the most commonly used functions and features for that specific account.
No. You can still get to the Find Us feature without signing in. Simply tap the 3-bar mobile menu at the top right of the screen.
For easier access, the Assistance Center can now be found in the navigation bar at the bottom of your main account screen.

Add Products is now located in the navigation bar at the bottom of your main account screen. With this function, you can easily open checking accounts, savings accounts, money markets, or CDs right from your phone.
Yes, if your phone’s app store settings are set to auto-update, you will receive the update automatically. If not, check your phone settings to confirm how you will receive the update.

No. All account sign-in information will remain the same with the new release.

None of BBVAs consumer and non-consumer checking, savings and Money market deposit products will be impacted by this change. We are only changing the look and feel of the Transactions History in Online Banking, Mobile and Client Vista.
No. There is no impact to the posting order of transactions to accounts.
Posted Balance is the account’s balance after transactions have posted to the account as a deposit or a withdrawal. This does not include any pending transactions or holds on the account.
Pending Transactions are transactions that have been authorized and deducted from the Available Balance, but have not been received by the bank from the merchant and posted to the account. Pending transaction amounts submitted by a merchant and seen in the transaction history may be more or less than the amount of the transaction that will post to your account.
A HOLD on a deposit/check is when the funds are not immediately available, and can be placed on deposits/checks for a variety of reasons.
Available Balance Before Transaction is the amount that was available to spend in the account before the current transaction posted. The Available Balance includes pending transactions and holds that are in place on the account at the same point in time (before the current transaction posted).
Available Balance after Transaction is the amount that was available to spend in the account after the current transaction posted. The Available Balance includes pending transactions and holds that are in place on the account at the same point in time (after the current transaction posted). Overdraft fees are assessed based on the Available Balance after the Transaction posts to your account.
The Processing Date is the date when the bank processes a transaction to the customer’s account. It is the date on which funds are removed or added to an account. The Processing Date of your transactions will differ depending on the type of transaction. For example, a PIN based debit card transaction that took place on the weekend may process immediately; whereas, a signature based debit card transaction or a check received by the bank over the weekend may not process until the next business day. The Effective Date is the date the transaction will be shown on your periodic statement and is the date the transaction will become effective for interest calculation purposes. For transactions that have a Processing Date after cut-off times or on weekends or bank holidays, the Effective Date of the transaction will be shown as the next business day. For example, a PIN based debit card transaction that took place on a Saturday may process immediately and have a Processing Date of Saturday but would have an Effective Date of Monday.
