Answers to commonly asked questions about the new BBVA Mobile Banking app
Will my alerts, bill payees, recurring transfers, settings, etc. be migrated to the new app?
Yes. No account information, settings, payees, or alerts will be lost. There should be no need to reestablish this account information after you update your app.
Where is the I Want To menu?
The I Want To menu has been replaced with a new navigation bar that opens your most commonly needed features with one tap. You now have faster access to Financial Tools, Add Products, Payments & Transfers (Move Money) and the Assistance Center.
How will I get to my account information?
Clicking Accounts in the navigation bar provides you fast access to your BBVA banking accounts. Along the bottom of each account details screen, you will now have a quick action bar, giving you access to the most commonly used functions and features for that specific account.
Do I need to sign in to access the Find Us feature in the new app?
No. You can still get to the Find Us feature without signing in. Simply tap the 3-bar mobile menu at the top right of the screen.
Where can I find the Assistance Center?
For easier access, the Assistance Center can now be found in the navigation bar at the bottom of your main account screen.
Where can I find Financial Tools?
The Financial Tools feature is also accessed using the navigation bar at the bottom of your main account screen.
Where can I find the Add Products capability?
Add Products is now located in the navigation bar at the bottom of your main account screen. With this function, you can easily open checking accounts, savings accounts, money markets, or CDs right from your phone.
Will my device automatically update to the new Mobile Banking app?
automatically. If not, check your phone settings to confirm how you will receive the update.
We encourage you to turn on automatic updates so that you never miss an important app release. Auto-updates are a simple way to ensure your BBVA Mobile Banking app always operates at optimum performance.
Will my current version of the app stop working when the new version releases?
No, your current version of the app will continue to work. Nonetheless, we encourage you to update to the new version. Once you experience the new app, you’ll be glad you did.
Will my username and password change with the new update?
No. All account sign-in information will remain the same with the new release.
