Online Statements

Frequently Asked Questions

What are Online Statements?

Online Statements are electronic copies of your BBVA account statements. There are two online versions presented for each statement:

  • Official Statement - it looks exactly like a copy of your paper statement because that's what it is, a copy of your paper statement. It shows all the same information that you receive on your paper statement. The benefit of an online Official Statement is that you can view, print or save a copy of your statement at your convenience.
  • Interactive eStatement - all of the information from your paper statement is shown, but you can interact with it to sort transactions by date, amount, or description for easier viewing. You can even review only your deposits or checks and withdrawals. It can be printed and exported in a CSV or PDF format.
What do Online Statements look like?

Online Statements are presented in two formats:

  • Official Statement - This looks exactly like the paper statement you receive today. If you currently receive check images with your statement, you will receive an exact copy of those images as well.
    • If you receive only a statement, (without check images), you'll see an exact copy of the statement.
    • To learn more about viewing Check Images, visit the Frequently Asked Questions about Image Viewing.
  • Interactive eStatement -You'll see all the information from the Official Statement, but it is presented in a manner that allows you to interact with it. You can sort it, export it, save it, print it and manage the information the way you want.
I do not want to receive a paper statement via the mail. How do I stop that?

Sign in to Online Banking and go to the Service Center section, where you can turn off and on paper statements for some or all of your Online Banking checking, savings and money market accounts.
