How do I track debit card activity?
The easiest way to track debit card activity is through Online Banking or Mobile Banking.
If you are a BBVA customer, in Online Banking under Account Summary, click “Checking” to see all pending and posted transactions. If you see any unauthorized transactions, contact us via the Service Center tab or call us at 1-800-239-5175.

BBVA also offers customers “mini statements” at BBVA USA ATMs. These statements include the last 10 deposits, last 10 debits, or last 10 transactions.
How do I cancel my debit card?
Here are five easy ways you can cancel your debit card:
- Give us a call: Reach us via phone at 1-844-228-2872 Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, CST.
- Sign in to Online Banking: Send a secure message through Online Banking under the Service Center tab. Sign in to Online Banking
- Access your BBVA Mobile Banking App: Cancel and reorder debits cards, as well as change your PIN number through the BBVA Mobile Banking App.
- Visit a BBVA branch: Of course, you can always step into a BBVA branch location and get assistance with canceling your debit card. Find a BBVA Location
Note: you will need to provide your full name as it appears on the account, your account number, and/or social security number during this process. Please make sure to have this readily available to ease the process.
How do I report a lost, stolen, or damaged debit card?
To report your debit card lost, stolen or damaged, immediately call 1-844-228-2872. You may also report a lost, stolen, or damaged debit card using any of the methods in the Q&A above.
BBVA will suspend transactions on the lost or stolen card and reorder a replacement, if desired. You will receive a new card within seven to ten business days.
What should I do if I notice unauthorized transactions on my debit card?
Again, contact your local BBVA branch immediately and report the unauthorized transactions. Typically, we will freeze your card to prevent any additional transactions.
You can also contact us at 1-800-239-5175 regarding any unauthorized debit card transactions. You may not be liable for the transaction, as long as it's reported promptly.
